TWENTY YEARS!
I can’t believe that we are embarking on preparations for our 20th year hosting LAN parties here in the Pacific Northwest! PDXLAN is one of the last large LAN parties in the United States – and over the past 20 years we’ve done a lot of good in people’s lives. Friendships formed, jobs obtained, charity support, and a gaming community void of the toxicity found in competitive gaming.
We’re looking to expand to 1,000 gamers next Spring – and we’d like your help. PDXLAN doesn’t have a marketing budget. Instead, we focus on producing a great event that our attendees will talk about with their friends. We believe that keeping our attendees happy is the best kind of marketing there is – and because of that, we are asking that you turn up the volume to your friends that haven’t attended PDXLAN yet, or the ones that last attended years and years ago – let’s get everyone back together for an amazing gaming celebration – a Lanniversary!
Tickets for the PDXLANNIVERSARY will go on sale November 12th at Noon! The event dates are March 30th – April 2nd, 2023.
I’m looking forward to planning a special version of PDXLAN that focuses on just how far we ALL have come.

Battle Stations! Its Cosplay for your LAN setup!
Coming to PDXLAN this Fall? Don’t forget about the “Battle Stations!” contest.
Just what is the Battle Stations contest? The Battle Stations contest is where the attendee creates their ultimate LAN Home for 4 days. What are the essentials you’ll need to power through 4 days of gaming? What ergonomic choices did you make? Did you raise your monitor to alleviate neck pain? Do you have a mega stash of snacks for you and your neighbors? Are you creating more space in your area by putting your pc-tower on a stand? Is there a theme to your battle station? Are you mounting a cup holder to your table for your Monster energy drink? Do you have a “bat signal” beacon aimed at the ceiling to show your geek power?
We want you to dress up your station. We are looking for you to impress those around you. We’re looking for that Ultimate LAN Battle Station. More details to follow on the Fall 2022 Event Info Page by November 1st.
