What to bring to PDXLAN

  • A form of identification with picture
  • $20 CASH for parking permit
  • Your computer and monitor
  • Keyboard, Mouse, Mouse Pad
  • Cords for all the above equipment
  • A multi-outlet surge protector (Not a UPS)
  • Headphones
  • Ethernet Cord (Minimum 25′ feet) There is not wireless
  • Games installed, patched, and ready to play
  • Recommended:  Money for concessions and food runs
  • Recommended:  A USB thumb drive for quick transfers
  • Recommended:  Spare equipment / cords to help neighbors

  • Power: Attendees are allocated 1 plug into PDXLAN’s power. Attendees should use this plug for their surge protector, and then plug all equipment into that surge protector.

What NOT to bring to PDXLAN

  • A battery backup power supply (UPS)
  • Do not bring speakers
  • Do not bring alcohol
  • Do not bring marijuana (Prohibited on fairgrounds property)
  • Do not bring weapons of any kind, even with permit
  • Do not bring any network equipment like routers, switches, hubs, etc.
  • Do not bring an outlet strip. Bring a surge protector.
  • Ice chests of any kind
