Each event PDXLAN raises money for charity. It’s who we are. It’s in our DNA.
This event PDXLAN will be raising money for Gamers Outreach, an organization that provides gaming systems to local hospitals for children to use during treatment. These gaming systems come complete with everything the child needs to play games, AND everything the hospital staff need to support that machine, (Tech support, broken controller, etc)
This event attendees will earn 1 raffle ticket per $10 donated. Each raffle ticket can be put in one of 12 boxes that have prizes in them. For each ticket an attendee puts in, they get a chance to win that prize!
Our first two charity boxes are already overflowing! The first box will be sponsored by Intel and MSI, providing FIVE gamers with a new Intel 14th Generation Processor and MSI motherboard. The second box will be sponsored by ZOTAC with up to FIVE complete gaming desktop systems! Each system comes configured with an RTX 3080!
We hope you’ll join us in attempting to raise $45,000 for Gamers Outreach this Spring. If we raise the $45k, we will have provided TEN Go-Karts to local hospitals.
