M360PLUS Tips and Case Question

Post by xkro » Wed Oct 30, 2019 1:54 pm

Hey Everyone,
A couple LANs ago I acquired a M360PLUS but my current Caselabs BH7 case obviously couldn't fit it. But I think it's time for an upgrade since my current case can't fit a better GPU than my 980ti. The fan and the GPU are about 5-10mm apart from each other.

So question, is there any smaller case such as a mid tower that can fit with the M3690Plus? I want it compact as the Caselab case fits nicely on my desk and LAN stand.

Is the M360Plus easy for someone that knows nothing about it to install/good build quality or should I just stick to my Corsair AIO kit to keep my computer compact.

I'm reading online that it comes with Aluminum products and that its a bad thing, why is that?

Thanks for the help!

Mixing metals can lead to galvanic corrosion. So a copper water block with an aluminum radiator can be problematic. Most off the shelf coolers are filled with corrosion inhibitor so it's not really an issue most of the time. You just have to be aware if you are building a custom loop with a fluid of your choice.

As for the case question, since you went with the H510 should we close this thread?
At a bus station, a bus stops. At a train station, a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.
