UPS/Battery Backup

Post by jlackner19 » Thu Aug 29, 2019 8:20 pm

So I recently got a battery backup from my brother. The link below is the unit. I'm a little nervous plugging it in as the much smaller one i had would trip the breaker in the apartment that I lived in. What's the likelihood i'm going to have any issues?

Sounds like the apartment may have had some bad wiring or too many things on the circuit. Many microwaves are 1000W peak so a 1000W UPS should be similar. It might cause the lights to flicker due to the temporary disturbance but it shouldn't exceed the capacity of a standard 15A circuit.
At a bus station, a bus stops. At a train station, a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.
