Asus 24" dead monitor

Post by Akroma_86 » Sun Sep 09, 2018 5:54 pm

Just had my monitor randomly die while I was out of my house. Had BF5 in loading screen when I left. Do I ask EA for a new monitor? I'm pretty pissed i had my 32"stolen in 2015 and was helped by paintball friends to get a new monitor and now my only monitor in the house is dead. I dont have extra funds and it's out of warranty and ENU is kaput. Anyone have a decent freebie laying around? I may be able to get a new one after taxes next year but this sucks. Someone help please. Thank you. I have senior photos to edit and now I cant do anything. I can't get paid without product. Ugh!

I don't know if this was a serious question but BF5 can't kill a monitor. Most likely it was just time.

Anyway, I would try the other connections on the monitor if possible to see if maybe it's that specific input that died. I would also try hooking the PC up to a TV to see if it's a problem with the monitor or the GPU.

It wont power on at all. Nothing no matter what I hook it up to. I dislike losing gear. Now all I have is my phone. I was going to support my build and holidays off senior pictures. My wife and I spent 4 hours on a shoot today and now I cant deliver anything. I am about to rage on this monitor with a hammer. UGH im so mad it isnt even funny

I do not have a free monitor available, but if you bring yourself and $50 to Gresham I can provide a 27" 1080p monitor.

If there's a will there's a way. It's not like it's impossible for you to get that work done. Reach out to friends, family, or co-workers to see if you can borrow a monitor to get your work done. Goodwill has some dirt cheap stuff you can use just to get your work done as well.

I have a spare 20" monitor you can borrow, but if you can put together $50, the offer above this post is a steal.

Good luck :)

That monitor came back on from the OP date and then died Sunday at the Lan. Fun times. It now has still not come back on since. Now I really need to go pick one up. And get another asap
