Re: "Dont quit your dayjob"

For the last 10 years I have been working from home, for a company in Seattle that does Salesforce consulting services. I work as a Salesforce and Pardot Consultant, going from company to company, project to project, across every industry you can imagine. Mostly working with local companies here in ...

Re: Website List: PC Customizing/Mod Supplies

I was PM'd by Biss regarding these 2 sites, and thought I would add them to the thread :) The first was Parvum Systems . I had never heard of this manufacturer and ended up drooooooooling over their cases  http://www.parvumsystems.com/products The second was Caselabs . While I was very much aw...

Re: Fallout 4 woes

How far you want to go is up to you but yes I would start with Origin, Corsair Link, PrecisionX, GPUz, etc. If it didn't come with Windows and you don't need it to run the game I would close it. The likelihood that Origin would cause a game to crash is pretty low but you'll kick yourself if you spe...

Re: Fallout 4 woes

Stock clocks? Disabled background processes? Yup, all stock, no OC. Not sure what you mean by this "Disabled background processes?" Do you mean turning off all the apps running in the background? Like Origin, Corsair Link, etc. Do you also mean opening up Services and stopping anything I'm not curr...

Do you have multiple monitors plugged in? For some games on older engines I had to use only one monitor to get the game to run correctly.
I had never heard of that, but I only have a single monitor on my gaming machine.

Fallout 4 woes

Fallout 4 has been in my Steam Library for a while, so I decided to try it out today. Sadly, the game crashes straight to the desktop after about 5 minutes of play. No error message, nothing. I did the usual Google-Fu to try to find answers on how to fix it. Lots of people seem to have this same pro...

Re: I think my headphones are dead

With BT I can keep my phone securely in my pocket and only take it out when I need to change the file I'm playing or do something else with it. I don't really understand this part. Whenever I use wired headphones, I always keep my phone securely in my pocket. I guess I don't understand why you feel...

Website List: PC Customizing/Mod Supplies

This thread is especially intended for community members that are just getting into customizing the look of their PCs. Since PC Modding/Customizing websites are few-and-far-between these days, I thought I would start a thread where we can post websites that specialize in this. Places like Amazon car...

Re: M.2 drives and heat

In the review linked below, they saw a 7 degree (Celsius) reduction in temps by using the EK M.2 Cooler. To me that doesn't seem like much. I actually have this cooler on mine, but honestly I just put it on there because it looks good. http://www.legitreviews.com/ekwb-ek-m-2-nvme-heatsink-review_202...

New forums are great. For some reason, the color scheme reminds me of 3DMark results. Anyone else notice this or is just me?
Could not put my finger on it until now, yes you are correct!

Re: Poll: Where are your games installed?

My OS and a couple of games are on a 500GB M.2 NVMe. I have four 250GB SSDs exclusively for games, and do not store any media on my gaming machine. My current computer is my first without any platter drives. On my next computer I will take it a step further and will only have two M.2 drives. No plat...

Yes! This!
Stayed away from the per-release, as I do with most games that I really want to enjoy.
Very much looking forward to this game when it comes out.

Re: Best brands for hard line, fittings, and fluid?

One thing to be careful with is some Primochil fluids break down, lose color, and gunk up your loop if you have any aluminum in your loop. I don't think all of them are this way, but I know for sure the "True" line is one of them.

Re: 120GB M.2 SSD Giveaway!

i would love to win this because I was given a m.2 coolerbut i dont have a m.2 ssd lol..would be nice to be able to use the cooler. Do M.2's really benefit from coolers? They do help, as-in they do lower the temperatures of the drive a bit, but they are not needed. I have one on my M.2 simply becau...

Re: Favorite ITX Case list

The Raijintek Metis is actually not that much bigger than the NCase M1... Curious to compare their space rating are in terms of liters.... Basic NCase M1 : Enclosure Interior Dimensions 307mm x 157mm x 237mm= 11,423,163 mm cubed = 11.4 liters Raijintek Metis: Dimension [WxDxH] 190x277x254 mm = 13,3...
