Re: Fallout 4 woes

I finally got a little time to play tonight and got this resolved. Looks like you guys were right. I disabled Discord, Razer Synapse, Battle.net, Origin, Corsair LINK, and GeForce Experience. Not sure which one was the culprit, but I was then able to play uninterrupted for about 2 hours until I sto...

I've backed quite a few kickstarters, but this one sets off my "Yellow Alert". I'm not too sure this one will ship with all the features they are claiming.

I keep the power on. I'm a Database Administrator for a large power company. We have energy grid databases, energy trading databases, databases that keep people alive, financial, HR, etc... etc...

Not glamorous, but it pays the bills.

NMS (bug?) tip. If you find a drop pod and haven't filled up your suit yet, you can find more drop pods on the planet by popping open a beacon, right next to the drop pod you just used, and doing a search (top search, forget the exact wording). I did this on one planet and found 9 drop pods in a row...

Re: M.2 drives and heat

In the review linked below, they saw a 7 degree (Celsius) reduction in temps by using the EK M.2 Cooler. To me that doesn't seem like much. I actually have this cooler on mine, but honestly I just put it on there because it looks good. http://www.legitreviews.com/ekwb-ek-m-2-nvme-heatsink-review_20...

Re: When did you join PDX & why?

I was working at BestBuy with Notoes and he was telling me about this kick ass "thing" where people "LAN". Of course I had to check it out. First PDXLAN was 3.04 (PDXLAN 3, 2004). Been coming on and off ever since.
