Re: Help Finding Gaming Chair

I found an AKRACING Core EX-Wide ($349) available for shipping (free), then a 30% off coupon (thank you Rakuten). Rated at 330lbs, 5/10 year warranty on chair/frame. It should be here next week.

I bought a breathable mesh ergo chair from Staples which has worked fine but I'm around 200. Just make sure if you buy online that there is a good return policy in case you dislike it.
Thank you. That's a good point, always. :)

Help Finding Gaming Chair

Hey folks. So...gaming chairs, am I right? Well, I'm currently using an office chair with a failing cylinder (or sometimes an old camping chair). I must replace. Brands? I've heard nothing but good about AKRACING. Also, Vertagear is a long-time sponsor of PDXLAN, so I thought there. Budget? $300-400...

Cleaning your heatsink and vents and trying again should not have netted you an increase on all temps. That isn't good. Have you tried ye old "set bios defaults" and boot with those to test for a difference?
Trying now...

Yeah pretty sure those are just reading errors. Try another temp monitoring software to see if you get a different result, maybe AIDA64 or SpeedFan or Open Hardware Monitor.
AIDA64 seems to agree...

Re: An Overheating Problem...Solved By Modding?

Unless you know those temps used to be significantly less, I suspect there is just an offset problem with HWMonitor reading those values incorrectly. There is no way you have a CPU temp of 36 C but some other component in a tiny case at 127 C, the gradient is too large I think. It's probably adding...

Re: An Overheating Problem...Solved By Modding?

Step 1. Open your case. Step 2. Clean your innards of dust/other things that act as insulators. (Heatsinks, fan covers, fan blades, case vents, etc) Step 3. Reassemble your case. Step 4. Rest the EXACT same way you did for that photo. Step 5. Post that photo here. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnByij4MLFhsmS...

An Overheating Problem...Solved By Modding?

Hey folks. SO...I have a Zotac mini-PC. I have some crazy high temps when the PC is 'at rest'. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnByij4MLFhsmSJAo0BwSEe-LDXl As you can see, my mobo temps are out of control. One friend suggested just removing the case. That doesn't seem like that's gonna be enough. Would a mod fi...

nVidia GeForce Now Beta

Hey folks. I thought I'd start a forum thread, rather than clutter FB. :) Who here is in the Beta? After about two months of waiting, I finally got the email today.
